Marisa Vargas
Marisa Vargas grew up in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She has studied classical hatha yoga in the Himalayan Tradition of Sri Swami Rama since 1998, primarily at the Institute of the Himalayan Tradition in St. Paul, Minnesota. Her teaching promotes self-awareness, inner balance, and the links between the physical poses and meditation. She places an emphasis on students going within themselves to understand their own bodies and minds.
