Dana Week
[practice of generosity]

Circle Yoga’s First Annual Dana Week will be held November 12—18, 2007.

Dana is the practice of generosity. All profits from the sale of merchandise and workshops during this week will be donated to the locally-based, globally-reaching non-profit, Women for Women International. Founded by Iraqi-born Zaineb Salbi, who is herself a devoted yogini (see Yoga + Joyful Living, July/August 2007), Women for Women International empowers women survivors of war to move toward economic self-sufficiency with direct aid, rights education, job skills training and small business development. For more information about Women for Women International, go to womenforwomen.org. Please join us to support this worthwhile organization.

Donation-based Yoga class Wednesday, November 14, 7-8:15 pm
Donation-based Yoga class Saturday, November 17, 12-1:15 pm.

All proceeds for both classes will go directly to the local non-profit, Women for Women, International. There is no suggested donation, all donations are accepted and will go directly to Women for Women.
