Dana Week
[practice of generosity]
Circle Yoga’s First Annual Dana Week will be held November
12—18, 2007.
Dana is the practice of generosity. All profits
from the sale of merchandise and workshops during this week
will be donated to the locally-based, globally-reaching non-profit,
Women for Women International. Founded by Iraqi-born Zaineb
Salbi, who is herself a devoted yogini (see Yoga + Joyful
Living, July/August 2007), Women for Women International
empowers women survivors of war to move toward economic
self-sufficiency with direct aid, rights education, job skills training
and small business development. For more information about
Women for Women International, go to womenforwomen.org.
Please join us to support this worthwhile organization.
